Verizon is about to announce the first new Verizon product line for 2020, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The news comes as the company is preparing to announce its 2020 strategy and plans to offer new smartphone options for consumers.

The Journal reports that the company will begin selling a phone with a 5.7-inch, 1440 x 2160 display in 2019, followed by the company’s flagship 5.8-inch model, which it said will be available later in 2019.

The company’s next phones will be unveiled during the fourth quarter, the Journal reports.

Verizon is one of the leading wireless carriers in the US, but it is struggling to maintain its market share amid competition from wireless carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile.

The WSJ reported that Verizon is considering adding more high-end phones, such as the Lumia 640 XL, to the lineup.

Verizon previously announced that it will expand the spectrum in 2020, and it has also announced a deal with the wireless carriers to offer two-year contracts for customers.
